London Designer Molly Goddard Launches Bridal With the Prettiest Tulle Gowns of the Season

British designerMolly Goddard, known for hercolorful, playful creationsand unique use of tulle, debuted her first-ever bridal collection today—and the gowns are simply gorgeous.

"I think weddings should be fun, fabulous and joyful and that is how I would hope our bride would feel in their dress—ready to dance and have the best day," Goddard tells Brides. While she's no stranger to fashion, bridal is a fairly new realm for the designer (she's only madebespoke creations在过去的朋友)。“我们想给people the option to buy bridal from us in a simpler way."

Her debut collection boasts 12 dreamy styles featuring hand-smocked bodices, frills, ruffles, and yes,plentyoftulle—that's a Goddard staple, after all! "Many of the pieces in the collection are adapted from previous designs we have done," she explains. "It was hard to choose my favourite dresses but there were a few that stood at as perfect wedding gowns."

Designed with every bride in mind, each look is made to order in any dress size and most styles can even be personalized by changing the color of ribbons and tulle. They range in price from £1,800 to £10,000 which roughly estimates to $2,385 to $13,250 in US dollars.

And in addition to the whimsy gowns, Goddard is also offering a small line of shoes andhandbagsmade for the big day.

As for her favorite bridal design of the moment? "I love the Simona' for its sheer volume," she says, adding, "and also the 'Violet' as it is the kind of dress that suits anyone and could be worn again and again."

She continues, "I am really excited to see people wearing their dresses. Like everyone in the world, I am dreaming and wishing for a great summer in 2021 and hopefully, it is filled with people having wonderfulcelebratory weddings."
